"The First Irish Coffee" - The Play

Immerse yourself in the hidden history behind the Irish Coffee... One sip at a time.
“The First Irish Coffee”  is an exciting, new play written by the incredible Irish Playwright, Lee Coffey, revealing the mysterious tale behind who invented the Irish Coffee. Hysterically funny and full to the brim of both character and costume changes, this two man play tells the story of Michael Nugent from Dublin and Joe Sheridan from Limerick who are both said to have invented the Irish Coffee. But, who truly did? After hearing both sides of the story, you get to decide who YOU think is the true inventor.... putting the power in the audience's hands!
.
Our play stars Luke Griffen and Aidan Moriarty. Each actor plays 32 characters with accents from Ireland, UK, USA and many more in between, leaving the audience on the edge of their seat waiting to see who they’ll meet next. Directed by award winning director, Tracy Ryan, The First Irish Coffee is guaranteed to be a complete sell out.
.
But, that’s not all! After the show, our famous Coffee-ologist will take to the stage where we will try to beat the Guinness World Record for the most Irish Coffees made in three minutes. Will we be able to do it? Come and find out!
.
